With a technical background in Computer Science, Simone has built his career as a serial entrepreneur. He served as a Technology Evangelist for Amazon AWS and held the positions of VP and CTO of Hybrid Cloud at VMWare in Silicon Valley. He is the founder of the startup Cloud Academy and the VC fund Mission and Market, in which he also invests as an angel investor. Simone was an operating partner at Cota Capital, a B2B venture capital firm based in San Francisco. He has made over 80 investments in startups to date and is a member of the investment committee at Level Ventures.
